Logged back in just to read and like Dan's post.
Needless to say I think he hit the mark perfectly with his list.
Would almost certainly return for this game if it turns out even the tiniest bit better than WoN 2.

Please don't do one village wipe on god it's so boring.
It stifles conflict because everyone is from the same village, raised together. It encourages bullying, but interpersonal conflict is often either avoided or quickly resolved -- you can't really kill someone from your own village. If you do, you're risking your character immediately. Conflict and intensity has no time to build and simmer. If its one village, the lack of events or things to do is noticed by the ENTIRE playerbase at once. Slice of life, arguablly the most boring part of NRP, is the only thing that benefits from being around literally everyone all the time.
A concentrated population into one village negatively impacts the personal experience of a roleplayer because they don't get to feel like anything but a face in the crowd when all gathered together; the chaance of overlapping characters skillsets, personality traits and experiences compound. It is better for the game to have two distinct groups of twenty than one group of forty waiting for a white-text about where they 'ought to go, only to wait three turns to get there to see that it's already over because no one sane would stay for eight new entrants unrelated to the prior events.
There are less roles for people to take in their local faction. You might have two police in each village of twenty, and then that's their thing. If you have like... even six police, it might lose its meaning.
It also keeps a bit of a mystery. Gossip from another village IC takes a long time to travel even if it might spread quick OOC. In one village, almost everything spreads like wildfire.
If you want to play a one-village wipe, why aren't you playing the one around right now?
Every memorable wipe I've been a part of has had at least two healthy villages.

Please make a custom vill(hopefully 2) btw. custom layout custom name custom sigil would go a long way in making it feel fresh and unbinding it from the canon. Edit

No shit tho. Never was the pb cryptic about the issues with the wipe. It's literally be written on these forums in black, white and memes over and over again. But to be abundantly clear; the root of the problems stem from the admin team. Idk what tf was going on with that shit but it was like a cult. Start with a clean slate and ditch the clique shit and you may retain your pb for a bit longer? Just a passing thought. That wipe left a sour taste, and I'm struggling find a reason I'd return. Might lurk around to see what actually comes out of this. Who knows. Aus bois gang gang

suggestion: give people the canon clans that they're asking for, not something u found on the naruto fanon wiki.
dont expect u to listen to this though lol. it's not like u gave players a choice for what village they wanted, so y would u give them the clans they want

Spellman suggestion: Do a weekly check of 14 PP instead of 2 per day. Obv increase the req to roughly 7 times what the single day one is. Change the 'multipliers' to bonuses. You can get 3(?) a week, and they're 1 pp each. That way if people are on holidays or busy before the cutoff period, they won't be randomly 2 pp behind. People won't need to spam rp to get their check in time. Tho downside I can see is someone getting their check early and being 10 pp ahead, but that's not too big, they'll still have to wait for apps, etc. (And a button that lets you increase the PP amount people below 200 PP get, to help people catch up late-wipe. Prob preferable to starting incentives.)
