What do you want to see in World of Ninjas 3? Do you want a system revamped? Maybe an entirely new one added? Now's the best time to ask, and we're all ears.

Just make sure the team is motivated (they don't have to be 100% of the time) but as long as a majority of you guys wanna make the game fun fr, then it'll work out!

have dedicated forum-mins who exclusively check & respond to apps & can compromise & balance jutsu instead of outright denying for ambiguous reasons. it should take a maximum of 1 week to get a custom jutsu approved, not a minimum of 1 week.
it's been done before & you literally check the forums every day. if ur too lazy to check apps then get some1 else to do it instead of making ppl wait for ur lazy ass it's not hard.

Run seven hundred spears through my throat and paint me god damn purple;
Have a plot plan for the entire god damn wipe. Don’t have to make it crazy detailed, but you’re going to want arcs and ECs and keep it flexible for player change.
I love being an eventmin but having to run an entire game’s plot was- Well my spinal column was cracking with every crackheaded step of mine. (We love to run plot, but being the heads of it is gay with no admin or decision potential. Know what you want, point us in the right direction.)
HOLY FUCK MAPS. NO MEME. IF THEY’RE UGLY FOR WIPE THREE ILL- ILL BURST INTO FUCKING FLAMES. Yukigakure had potential to be cool, but it was huge and spacey and my 4 player village could be spread out at any given time. Kasumi genuinely makes the best maps, so pay her a good one.
If the village looks good and is a pleasure to stare at for the several hours we’re hunched over our computers like primates from 2 million BC- It’ll be okay. Uh.
Hm. Hmmm. Yeah, that’s it for now.

does anyone apart from darwin club actually want a shorter wipe do u understand the ramifications of reward multipliers do u understand the clique potential of recommending multipliers do u have any reason for making different number of tiers for cores professions and misc If you guys don't want one.. Speak up? But long wipes, always, in the history of Naruto roleplay do not have a satisfying ending and just die out because people get burnt out trying to consistently roleplay for months on end. 4 months is a long time. Not to mention, if you guys don't want the story to end after 4 months, Darwin will write up more story. It's already been mentioned in the revival post. ? Yes, we'll be wary of people recommending their friends! It's already been brought up internally. We find that there isn't enough depth in the normal 1-4 tiers for professions, and with 1-8 for cores allows us to give out buffs without silly decimals and all that +0.5 tier nonsense.

could be wistful dreaming but i like the idea of people being encouraged to create/populate villages with being allowed to make late genin/high chuunin characters as alts that are frozen in progression (permanently or not i don't care i have no stakes in it) so as to have a wider plethora of 'pseudo-starter' characters.
rather than having five people be responsible for ranks in a village etc it might be nice if the place felt more full of life/ranks rather than every new academy student character referencing/quoting the exact same starter they all had to hog for attention.
aka i'd like more 'starters'

1 village wipe. We voted before and it was rly close. Now it's time :>.
-Rain overlay if it's a village like Ame! (Ties into maps too.)
-Be more lenient on clans getting uniques or maybe flesh out their potential clan uniques more.
-Try to stop falling back on comfort villages like Konoha. It might be me but it feels lame to use Konoha in a 2 village wipe, I think it should really be reserved for a one village wipe with a huge inter-village plot.
-Medic's probably shouldn't get auto-rank ups just for healing.
-Don't do groups of C+ rankups in a batch, as if you pick and choose who should be in the group, rather than based on merit and when the time came via logs + pp. It felt sorta left-field when that happened last wipe. Maybe do a timeskip instead?
-New admin team. Make sure you guys have rules on what can + can't be done, so just one person isn't handling everything.
-More laid back approach. To use an example from last wipe, that Seishin starter should have really been allowed to join in on the fight, (worst case just put killing restrictions on him). Or actually let him know beforehand. Just more communication + respect for starters. They should be able to have fun too.
-Bias. At times the game's really pushed in a direction where it gravitates around certain players because of OOC. Like story-wise, I understand why people are hamfisted as heroes, but you should let it come naturally or else you're just going to put people off. It's distasteful.
-Customs. Work with players more and if you can, maybe don't allow 5000 variants of the same thing. I think customs should be more original things, and not just a different shape of a technique. Also less techniques with walls of text.. and bigger boxes for jutsu + perk windows so we can read them. Maybe get together as a team and make a few nice customs for each village before the wipe starts. I really liked how in Yuki, the element chakra flow rupture was like in Japanese but in english in ame. Small things like that.
- Keep the same story staff if you can, the starting stories + clans for Yuki and Ame were incredibly well-written and the clans really matched the village. Even the custom clans didn't feel out of place or cheap. Really cool to watch it as well. I wouldn't mind it if you guys went for more low-key villages either, or made villages like Suna more niche too. The relationships between the starters were pretty topnotch as well, like Kagora + Sae and Nagai + Mitsuwa and Mitsuwa + Sae.
PS - Remove affinities.
Edit: Bring back Salmon too.

Firstly, to just put my support towards things already mentioned, I do agree with the one village-wipe theme, rank-ups, and having a plot already planned out. Going a bit more in-depth, the reason I support a starting one-village wipe is because it makes handling all the other nitty-gritty problems addressed and listed prior much easier. If there's one village, it's easier to see who has effects where and how pivotal said individual or group's role is. From there rank-ups along with the case of multipliers should be easier managed, let alone a plot since there won't need two separate ones that have to somehow connect later on, but a single storyline that immediately groups together the entire playerbase. This way, the entire team can come together and just pan all their attention on a single area, making life easier for both players and administrators in my opinion. An idea I personally just came up with would be probably along the lines of this:
The entire playerbase starts off in Village X, a tyrant-ruled dictatorship nation. Players are either born into a silver-spoon privileged life or sentenced to damnation in poverty. Lack of circulation of ryo leads to only a few experiencing this lavish life (applied for noble clans) while majority of the playerbase (nonclans/common clans) is subdued to an intolerable lifestyle, barely making ends meet and rarely having access to basic necessities. Due to this obvious distinction between the population, segregation and discrimination plague Village X and the constant injustice among the masses begin to dwindle on the little tolerance left. Eventually Village X is plunged into Civil War which leads to its untimely demise. How relies dependent on player's actions which could either lead to new leadership and the reconstruction of the Village in a new light, or a split between two parties that now form their own ideal settlements. (Note: Real Proper Academy Training For Nobles with easier access to jutsus, Street Training For Plebs more reliant on ECs or other ways to learn jutsus, EC Influencers to really drive the story, and a lot of violence.) The focus is to off the bat throw us into shit, and let our character progression get off as quickly as possible since wipes are going to be shorter. This idea basically is kind of inspired by the experience of being an Amegakurian player from last wipe. Sae's character in a lot of ways made Amegakure roleplay rather fun and dangerous, as she was a perfect mixture between narcissistic manipulator, bitch, and toughlove. The fact that people who were once friends one week and delimbing, betraying, and backstabbing eachother the next week was pretty cool. It made us fight eachother, and then likewise try to fight her and realize how powerless we are before once again fighting eachother. And despite how abusive the relation may be between kage and genin, it honestly did us better than having a happy-go lucky or outright 'kill you for little to no reason' tyrant.
With that said, the entire events last wipe was pretty epic. It wasn't just locked for clans and spread quite good, always having a sense of danger and failure no matter how strong you were or how many of us it was. Like the bounty-hunter system. As someone who actually planned and strategized to beat them and earn recognition that way, could admit it was always enjoyable, sometimes stressful, but overall a pleasure, especially when you finally killed someone you been hunting for a month. Hopefully that or something similar returns, but in addition the little random pocket events that came here and there unexpected were also pretty good. The only thing I'd say that went wrong with the events is that sometimes, for most it was hard to see how it made sense and how it was connected to the main storylines. Along with at times the effort placed into trying to draw connections and be a little detective from an IC/OOC stanpoint, was a bit of downer. Somethings just didn't make sense and it felt more we were given something, just to say we weren't without events.
Now into what I really think went wrong was the early buffs/kkgs/uniques that were given out so early. Summonings were bearable because players had to scale towards them, but things such as Raijin Sword just didn't really fly for me. I never saw a reason for that one specifically, or powerful KKGs like lava, steel, etc. being given out before chuunin. In my opinion, things that were just too powerful for people who weren't even chuunin yet were given way too early. A better scaling process should be given if you're going to repeat this, or just a better restriction towards what's viable early and what's not. That should definitely be discussed because a lot of people were angry/irritated with it publicly or privately. And it turned early on into basically 'X can have Insert Unique Here, but I can't get my Canon/Regular Jutsu?! WTF?!'. Sad part is, that's not even an exaggeration for few some of the playerbase, it really did seem like that at times and I can recall personally questioning exactly how approvals/recommendations worked cause I felt I did shit, maybe not a lot, a lot, but in my opinion viable effort for requested things.
Other than everything else listed, sometimes there were really questionable things that just lead to pretty much obvious bias. Like with the Amegakure succession issue when someone who was branded an opposition ended being up on the council when the other side won? And to conclude smarter planning, sensible timed plot, and least bias as possible.

I want the prices for custom icons removed, personally. Among other reasons as to why I'm often times drawn away from this game and several others, I hate the idea of having to sit in a mine-shaft three days in a row just so I can have the Ryo to test an icon I make. I'd like to see either an implementation done like in Project Crimson where you can upload the custom icon, wear it, walk around in it, but THEN have to buy or drop it or just remove the price for custom clothing altogether.
cont. As a continuation of the trying on said custom icon, another option could be a preview window that allows you to see all the states when equipped or some such.

Having played both wipes and having played plenty of Naruto RPs, it's safe to say I found there to be plenty wrong with the game. Most of the problems translated across both wipes. So here goes:
1) Lack of head admin: What can I say. This was so blatantly obvious. Wipe 1 had no one to man the helms. Wipe 2 had Dani for all of 2 months. The moment they stepped back. Poof. Voila. It became chaos. As an admin team, there always needs to be a "manager" of sorts to direct them.(Like you have in virtually ANY WORK PLACE. You can have a team that unanimously votes on things, but there HAS TO BE SOMEONE IN CHARGE). I think you've proven both times that you're not prepared to play your own game, let alone manage it all wipe, Coding. Pick someone who is committed to running the game. Who will stick around and let them have final say. I noticed many times you randomly decide to butt in on decisions and if you're not actively running the game? Then what opinion could you possibly have if you haven't seen what players do ingame or what direction it's going in.
2) Distribution of power: Having played a brutish character wipe 2 whose entire skillset was dedicated to destruction(My KKG was explosion), I found it pretty ridiculous that I made it into the top 5 mentions of Yukigakure as a player, only to get told "hey, you're really strong as it is. Everyone else in the top 5 is getting an additional unique or semi over the TS, but because you're so strong in combat, nope. You're one unique is too good). This whole stigma of "absolute balance" needs to go. If you dedicate your entire skillset to combat power, instead of say a medic who spread their build across supplementary abilities or other Shinobi who take hybrid builds, then you shouldn't be held back for taking a brutish build. Rank your uniques and semis based on their power, sure. But if a man is rocking one KKG unique all wipe(Explosion) and their peers rocking Lava and Ice both get special semi's like Amplifier and Ancient Ice over a TS when all parties involved are active and notable??? Wut. I also speak on behalf of Gustang as well. I saw that man do plenty to be worthy of at least a Semi(I think a former admin like Jack can agree with this). From the moment the man made his DR to NINE WEEKS IN, I can't fathom why the admin team intentionally held people like him back.
3) New Admin Team: Just god damn do it. I can say players like Jack deserve another run as an admin. But the other staff? They either blatantly had bias, or were totally burned out. (Yes Hiazi, I love u bro. But you seemed so god damn burned by the end of it all that you just didn't seem interested in talking about things. I don't want to see you in that state again).
4) A programmer: Build a purchasing interface for perks. Take the load off your staff when it comes to that shit. I found it so difficult to get set up on a DR. This kills your playerbase, if new players can't get straight into the game.
5) 2-3 people should be allocated strictly to the forums: This team should be independent of the ingame admins. They should strictly look at the creation of techniques and approval of uniques. That's their job. Perhaps this same team can handle log checks as well, so they can better manage their duties by seeing weekly what players do and how much they accomplish. I can't stress how impossible it was to get perks and weapons made, let alone a COMMENT ON THE APP after 2 weeks of nagging.
6) End tea. No more tea. Sick of hearing TEA.
7) Stop stifling creativity: You know what's lame? Being told you can't have breaths because it's "lame" and four weeks after giving up, you see someone running around with it. Said player was also the friend of an admin, so it's likely that said admin encouraged its placement. Raiton. Perhaps one of the most difficult elements to create any kind of unique or technique for. You work with two admins in creating a unique jutsu that makes you a bug zapper when people touch you up close. Only after working for a week on it, you get told "LUL THIS IS RNY". No boosts. No protection. Just lightning that arcs off of you to zap people. As a unique. Which had been balanced to have counter play. Then two weeks later you see another player running around with virtually the same technique as a non-unique. Here's their technique:
[B-Rank]
After three handseals, the user generates a mass of chakra throughout their body and converts it into raiton. Instead of firing it traditionally, however, the user amplifies the chakra in their body and uses it as a conduit for the electrical power, causing anyone unlucky enough to make contact with the user to get flooded with lightning-release chakra. The current is strong enough to lock down the muscles of opponents, making it a useful defense against would-be taijutsuists.
Three handseals. Final handseal must be held to sustain the jutsu. User is immune to electrical currents generated by their own chakra while using this jutsu.
I can't stress how fucking frustrating it was to try and be creative and employ less frequented uniques or even try to make something entirely custom and unique. Seriously. Allow more creativity. Be OPEN and work with players players to make custom abilities and jutsu. Don't stomp it out first time you see it. Discuss ways to make it fit. You seemed to have no trouble in letting a medic create a one finger death jab T3 perk. You had no trouble allowing a crystal user to make a FLYING DRAGON OF CRYSTAL(Imagine doing that with Doton lul. The only reason it works with clay and ink is cause they're light).
Final Comments Follow these points and ones made above and your game won't suck entirely. Follow only 1 or 2 of them? Then this thread is no different to the ones you posted during Wipe 1 and Wipe 2, where only two pieces of advise were ever considered and yet one week later go forgotten. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times? Don't make another game.
