GENERAL RULES
Sealing Body Parts
No, we don't allow body parts, eyes, hearts, or the works to be sealed within a simple scroll and 'frozen'. Fuuinjutsu is a relatively tricky topic, but for the sake of fairness, we do not allow it. Players are expected to either use organs or eyes fresh out of their respective bodies, or put them within a correct jar full of the appropriate chemicals to preserve them for long periods of time. Then, and only then, can they be sealed. Corpses, with the appropriate fuuinjutsu tier, can be sealed for CONVENIENCE and traveling purposes. They will not, however, slow in their decay.
And to answer a question; after much debate and talking it over with a group of our admins and personal friends, we think we might've found an answer to the infamous question of... 'Oh. Well if that was the case, then why can you unseal weapons in motion?" And the honest answer that I was going to give you?.. It's Naruto. Who knows? There is no canon explanation. Many games have ruled many different things because -no one knows for sure-. The answer we've theorized, however, is...
"They go into the pocket dimension which can be an infinite space considering they pull buildings out of scrolls, and stay in perpetual motion. If you can create an infinite space the least you can do is literally make it an infinite space vertically, so they're just kept in constant motion by gravity."
That answer might not satisfy a lot of you. I know it won't, actually. But due to the mysterious nature of fuuinjutsu, your assumptions are just about as solid and factual as our own. This is what we go by. If you guys want to take it up in PM with us and have a friendly debate about it, then sure. We'd love to hear your theories, too. But to further explain our reasoning, we refer to this; where Obito and even Itachi were canonly shown on several occasions to be storing eyeballs within containments of chemicals in order to preserve them rather than simply sealing them away. (Prices listed on the Tradesmen Guide page).
Sealing Size Scaling Per Tier
T1 - Think small weapons. Kunai, shuriken, senbon. Food rations, small medical supplies (scalpels, bandages, bottles of alcohol) etc.
T2 - Think... windmill shuriken, back shuriken, zanbatou, corpses, etc.
T3 - Think boulders, large sources of water, etc.
BARRIER NINJUTSU
Barrier Ninjutsu (結界忍術, Kekkai Ninjutsu, Literally meaning: Barrier Ninja Techniques) is the incorporation of barriers into techniques. Essentially these techniques allow the users to manipulate barriers. The user can erect barriers that can be used to protect themselves, or to trap an opponent, amongst other various uses. While barrier ninjutsu, in general, has no real aim and no real purpose other than containment of any sort; on WoN, we do have a few general guidelines involving the profession that we'd like to go over with everyone. Firstly, I'd like to point out that barrier ninjutsu is not a separate specialization from fuuinjutsu. Meaning, taking up the profession does not count against you as a secondary specialization in addition to fuuinjutsu.
I'd also like to put down a few simple rules that I'd like you all to keep in mind when applying...
- Do not ask for barriers that do not have tags or other sources of formation without hand seals.
- Do not ask for unbreakable, massive barriers with no potential drawbacks.
- Always design your barriers to have one set purpose, not multiple strengths with little to no drawback.
What is acceptable:
- Barrier Method Formation
- Four Violet Flame Formation
JUUINJUTSU
Juinjutsu (呪印術, Viz: Curse Mark Jutsu, Literally meaning: Cursed Seal Techniques) are a type of techniques used to bring someone under the control of the user. By applying a seal to the victim's body, the user brings the victim's abilities and actions under his/her control. With a simple secret hand seal, the user can inflict great mental and physical torment on the victim. The exact workings of juinjutsu are kept secret. Like barrier ninjutsu, juuinjutsu is not a separate specialization from fuuinjutsu.
Simple rules...
- Do not ask for unbreakable juuinjutsu.
- Always design your juuinjutsu to have on set purpose, not multiple strengths with little to no drawback.
- Curse Seal creation requires not only research on the current, existing ones - but also DNA extraction from Juugo and experimentation on actual players who will die in the process. Don't expect to make Curse Seal if you're not willing to put in the dirty work and effort that is required, nor expect to be approved for an offbrand version that grants boosts for no reason. Curse Seal gets its boost from Senjutsu, which is found in Juugo.
What is acceptable:
- Cursed Tongue Eradication Technique
- Self-Cursing Seal
FUUINJUTSU
In general, regardless of sub-division, shouldn't be as good as elemental ninjutsu in most circumstances. Barrier ninjutsu, for example, is not an alternative Doryuheki. It's a supplementary specialization, and extremely niche.
