It only sounds complicated!
We've decided to add this guide and a set of rulings to make things a bit easier to understand for you guys, but this is still pretty experimental. If you have feedback, contact one of the admins so we can bring it up for a discussion.
Now let's get to it.
When sneaking into or outside of a village (whether if it's your own or an enemy one), you're expected to admin-help and ask for an admin to roll a 100d dice for you. Now, the odds vary depending on the perks (and in rare cases, jutsus) your character owns.
The base rule is that you have a 10% to sneak in, or outside of a village unnoticed. That is, if you have no supporting perks or jutsus. You're just relying on luck, and some of the most basic shinobi knowledge.
T1 Sneaky feet will add 10% to your roll. T2 will do the same, T3, however, will add 20%. These perks stack of course, meaning that a person with T3 Sneaky feet will have a 50% to get inside or outside of a village unnoticed!
To those who're interested in making their chances better, there's also Shroud of Shadows (T2) that adds 10% more, and Darkness is my Ally (T3) that adds 20% more. Together, you can reach 80% - which is the highest you can go without any jutsus being used.
As for the jutsus, some will grant you a small bonus such as 10%, and some will even grant you the ability to get inside and outside without any risks of getting caught. The chances vary, and since the list itself is not really limited and is moreso depended on what the character in question is trying to do - we'll be judging those cases without putting their %'s here.
Please keep in mind that if you -are- caught trying to sneak in or outside of a village, there will be an IC message announced for that village, and in cases where timezones are tricky- NPC guards will be summoned. It's not simple to infiltrate a hidden village and risks will always be involved.
