Kage Bunshin!
Kage Bunshin, one of the best cloning techniques there is. A Kage Bunshin will inherit all abilities of the user and can perform them without fault. It should be noted, however that for every clone that's made, the user must divide their chakra evenly. Too many clones can cut an individuals chakra down low enough that they may not be able to perform any of their signature techniques. It should also be noted that when a Kage Bunshin is dispersed, it's experience is carried on to the user, relaying all information it's come to experience. It's also worth noting that Kage Bunshin can be influenced by Genjutsu.
Elemental Clones and contract-related clones!
So, you didn't get your hands on Kage Bunshin? Well, fortunately for you there are alternatives. These types of clones are more simple in nature. They possess access only to the affinity they are constructed of. Furthermore, they only possess a messily equivalent of C rank chakra that the user possess. This means that they can cast only one C rank jutsu, per clone before dispersing. It also means that for every clone summoned, the user expends C rank chakra. In the case of characters of the rank B- or above, the clones may cast ONE B rank technique, or two C rank techniques.
Elemental Clones will only possess the primary fighting weapon of the user, if they utilise one and will only fight at a subpar rate in close combat. They aren't quite as fast, nor as powerful as the person they imitate. But they can put up a decent fight. Elemental Clones cannot be influenced by Genjutsu. Unlike Kage Bunshin, these behave more like puppets. Unless the main user is influenced by a Genjutsu, their reality is not warped.
Extra Notes:
Unless the user has Tajuu Kage Bunshin, they can only summon a maximum of four clones at any one point in time. This is also the standard limit for elemental clones.
There may also be some elemental/contract related clones that don't obey the current rules in place and may bypass them. In this case, their unique circumstances will be placed on the skillcard.
