rny gets extra tiles with the speed buff so why does speed affinity not give 1 extra tile? each tier of speed gives 2 tiles, so half a tier should give 1 tile.
why is this not in the game??

Because then it makes speed affinity the best option by giving it an actual value instead of some hehe lul .5 that you can just ignore.

Cuz basic math 2 difficult

speed has always been meta so it's the best option regardless

Alright lets buff speed the already meta skill but in return if you don't have perception equal to or -1 the speed you're running you won't be able to accurately perceive anything going on.

/thread.
giving a value to speed affinity means all the others need an additonal value/bonus which lowkey means changing the entire system

no lmao speed already has tiles no change is needed it's just a 1 tile boost cuz speed is alrdy the only stat that operates in an objective manner like this
speed = tiles/turn

just add a rule that says "each 0.5 tier of speed gives +1 tile of movement" that way u dont need to change the entire system :nice:

reminder that most of the boost of rny is speed and that you don't gain tiles past T4

Because RNY is a unique and speed affinity isnt.

then why not have the extra tile cap at t4? (so t4.5 speed doesn't give any extra tiles) seems kind of silly that someone with t3.5 speed will never mechanically be able to catch up to someone with t3 speed if they move at max tiles every turn.
unique or not, it doesnt make sense that u can travel a distance faster while still being limited to a certain amount of tiles and it's hurting my autism aaaa

I dislike affinities to begin with, and would appreciate them being removed before them being buffed. Yes, it makes sense for someone with 3.5 speed to move more tiles than someone with 3 (even just other buffs like Inuzuka not just affinity) - however, the powercreep would be ridiculous and anyone with speed affinity would start overplaying it even harder.
No from me, chief.

it's not about having more speed than rny, it's just one extra tile which isn't rly op imo (rny gives like 7 or whatever extra tiles? ofc rny will have more speed regardless) it's just that speed perks are the only real perks in the game that give definite numbers on what u can do in combat, but the speed affinity perk doesn't add anything to that. having one extra tile isn't game-breaking? speed-based uniques give a lot more than that, and non kekkei genkai affinity users will have weaknesses regardless
