I’m just going to add in some personal gripe here that I had as an eventmin. And this is directly related to the “player character” in this situation. Maybe it’ll add a little more clarity.
As an eventmin. The point of our events is to create an impactful scenario that drives your character’s goals to become stronger or see the world in a different perspective. What events are not suppose to be is a glorified “flex”. Which most people try to do- With little to no consequences. From what I gathered. You tried to “flex” which forces ECs to overplay, imo. It’s not their fault. It’s just a way compensate for someone one shotting them with their ultimate technique round 1.
In all, take events seriously and use them to grow and evolve your character. Because that is what they’re meant for at the end of the day. Don’t downplay things because you’re upset with the consequences. I’m not sure if that applies. But that’s how I felt when I did things. Let this guy grow. He’ll get better. Maybe next time your character won’t run in head first!

... Again, people and their half-baked opinions.
I jumped in, that's the character. He's a hot head. I didn't flex on the EC or bust out my strongest combinations. Hell, I kept my summon out of the 1v1. I wanted a battle to promote the growth of my character where he uses his Kenjutsu to face head on against a stronger opponent. I didn't expect to one shot them. I have T2 strength. I wanted to land a few hits and RP working up during the battle and win alongside my comrades.
That sounds like a good event to me. Not him going 'I dodge' to everything. It isn't fun, promoting RP or motivating me to continue the battle. The entire thing was based on getting a guys ice cream supplies. Nothing about the event was good imo. That's all I'll say, done with this thread. Thanks for coming out.

Okay, but what did your character learn from this? Will he still be a hot head. Or will he be reminded of the last time he acted as a hot head.

You saying "people and their half-baked opinions" just paints you further as a shit head.
Stop being a shit head, shit head.

But really, no. The character has grown from this, but not from the event. It was from the reactions of those around him. The event was still poorly done and I wouldn't recommend the eventmin but my character has changed from the event, just not due to him.

nah, just an add on. If possible, I'll avoid the eventmin due to OOC gripes but the character has changed.
